His Mom said /"He beat it to pieces.." recalling the set his father bought him. Beating drums was very special. The pop, the boom, smack, and crash was the sound and action oV Joey..'s playground. Born and raised in North Hollywood California with drum sticks in hand....... ..........Shawn Fortney was born in the Idaho as an air force brat and settled in Las Vegas in 1989. Shawn has a wide scale oV music that he listened to and was influenced by classic rock, hip hop, heavy metal, funk, and punk.
